Description

The ricotta is whipped until light and fluffy, then topped with a sweet-spicy hot honey drizzle, crunchy walnuts, and fresh rosemary. Perfect with toasted bread, crackers, or veggies—it’s a crowd-pleasing snack that feels fancy but couldn’t be easier.


Ingredients

Scale

1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese

23 tablespoons olive oil

Zest & juice of 1 lemon

Salt & black pepper, to taste

¼ cup honey

12 teaspoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 sprig fresh rosemary, leaves removed

2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (or pecans, pistachios, almonds)

Crackers, crostini, pita chips, or fresh veggies for serving


Instructions

  • Add ricotta, olive oil, lemon zest, and lemon juice to a food processor. Season with salt and pepper. Blend on high 1–2 minutes until smooth and fluffy.

  • Spread whipped ricotta into a shallow bowl or platter.

  • In a small bowl, stir together honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Adjust sweetness and heat to taste.

  • Drizzle hot honey over ricotta. Garnish with walnuts and rosemary.

  • Serve immediately with bread, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes
