Ingredients
1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
2–3 tablespoons olive oil
Zest & juice of 1 lemon
Salt & black pepper, to taste
¼ cup honey
1–2 teaspoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 sprig fresh rosemary, leaves removed
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (or pecans, pistachios, almonds)
Crackers, crostini, pita chips, or fresh veggies for serving
Instructions
Add ricotta, olive oil, lemon zest, and lemon juice to a food processor. Season with salt and pepper. Blend on high 1–2 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
Spread whipped ricotta into a shallow bowl or platter.
In a small bowl, stir together honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Adjust sweetness and heat to taste.
Drizzle hot honey over ricotta. Garnish with walnuts and rosemary.
